Cancellation policy

Aava Riverside is a year-round premium destination. Our cancellation terms

vary depending on the season. Please read the conditions carefully before

booking, as all reservations are subject to these policies.

Winter High Season (1 Dec – 6 Jan)

Reservations for this peak period are non-refundable. In case of

cancellation, modification, or no-show, the full amount of the reservation

will be charged. The reservation becomes binding upon payment and cannot

be rescheduled to a different date.

Main Season (1 Aug – 30 Nov & 7 Jan – 6 Apr)

Cancellation more than 60 days before arrival: no cancellation fee.

Cancellation 31–60 days before arrival: 50 % of the total reservation value

will be charged.

Cancellation 30 days or less before arrival or no-show: 100 % of the

reservation value will be charged.

Low Season (7 Apr – 31 Jul)

Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: no cancellation fee.

Cancellation 15–30 days before arrival: 50 % of the reservation value will be

charged.

Cancellation less than 15 days before arrival or no-show: 100 % of the

reservation value will be charged.

Travel Insurance

Life is unpredictable. Please note that Aava Riverside does not refund

payments under any circumstances, including illness, transportation

disruptions, or other unexpected issues. We strongly recommend obtaining

travel insurance that covers cancellations and travel plan changes.

Force Majeure

In the event that your reservation cannot be fulfilled due to force majeure (e.g.

government restrictions, natural disasters, pandemics), Aava Riverside may

offer to reschedule the booking to a later date. Refunds will not be issued

under such circumstances.

Binding Reservation

By placing a booking, the guest confirms acceptance of these terms. As theaccommodation is reserved for a specific date, the booking is not subject to

the right of withdrawal under Chapter 6, Section 16 of the Finnish

Consumer Protection Act.
